Farewells are part of life, no matter how old you are. How can farewells be celebrated? Nora and Ives use the stage to catch up on missed goodbyes and practice upcoming ones. Inventing mourning rituals is about the desire to let go and, with the help of a dream-fulfilment machine, about the power of a new beginning.

The production is part of a trilogy with the previous productions "Liebe üben" and "dÄmonen".

On Sunday, 26 October 2025, RhB children's conductor Clà Ferrovia will be on the road with the Engadine steam adventure train. Travel with him and the "Heidi" steam locomotive between Samedan, Pontresina and St. Moritz.

You can meet him at the following times*:
- Chur departs 09.58 a.m., St. Moritz arrives 11.53 a.m. (regular train, no special ticket is required)
- St. Moritz departs 1.28 p.m. - Pontresina - Spinas - St. Moritz - Samedan arrives 3.54 p.m. (Engadine steam adventure train, special ticket must be purchased)
- Samedan departs 4.16 p.m., Chur arrives 6.04 p.m. (regular train, no special ticket is required)

At first, Clà Ferrovia will be on the Albula line in regular traffic. All you need for this train journey is a valid train ticket for you and your companions. For the subsequent ride on the Engadine steam adventure train, a special ticket must be purchased in advance.

Visit Clà Ferrovia in the Alvra family compartment on the Albulaline. On the way, he will tell you about his latest experiences and you can try out a few games, solve puzzles or just marvel out of the window together.

Shostakovich to the power of two, Demenga to the power of two! The renowned Bernese brothers with roots in Graubünden present both cello concertos written by Dmitri Shostakovich and thus a concert evening full of intensity and drama. The dancing virtuosity of the first concerto (Patrick Demenga) contrasts with the darkness and depth of the second (Thomas Demenga). Together, the two works provide a fascinating insight into the emotional world of the great Russian composer during the thaw period after Stalin's death. The concert evening will open with Igor Stravinsky's Pulcinella Suite from the neoclassical ballet of the same name, based on a Neapolitan story.

Would you like to take part in something at the Chur Theatre? Playing the rooms in a "different" way? Would you like to cook and eat together with others at the Chur Theatre? "Chadafö" is a project in which people from the Chur Theatre use the house with guests for an interim period in a different way than is usually the case. Cooking and eating together can be a start. Maybe we are not in a position to discuss much with each other, but we can do something.

The idea is as captivating as it is seemingly simple: Continuously read a story together, let it sink in and exchange ideas about it
The story read aloud and the conversation are perceived by everyone as a shared experience that does not require any initiative: "Reading Together" is not a book club or an ambitious literary circle, but a method of experiencing the beneficial development of literature, texts and words in an atmosphere of effortless openness.
Employees of the Chur Theatre look for suitable places and venues in public spaces or go to other municipal institutions to meet for "reading together" and cordially invite everyone to experience the effect of reading together, aloud or in silence, as well as to tread undiscovered paths of reading and reading aloud.

Theater Chur is already entering its second round with "Reading Together": After Plinio Martini's novel "Not Beginning and Not End", Leta Semadeni's poetic and image-rich novel "Tamangur" is now on the programme, which will celebrate its premiere on 30 April 2025 on the stage of Theater Chur in a production by Graubünden director Georg Scharegg. In this way, for all those who want to watch the play later, a personal approach to the novel is created in advance.

The group is open to all interested parties, registration is not necessary. The "Reading Together" offer is free of charge and the book is available in each case.

There will be a total of four dates on which the book will be read consecutively. At the beginning of each reading there is a short summary of the plot, what has happened so far. Attending only one individual appointment is therefore just as good and nutritious as attending all four dates. The dates will take place as follows:

We would like to do this from different perspectives: We ask ourselves why people are involved in the church, why others are less so, and yet have a "Protestant" concern. People of different stripes will have their say to talk about the meaning of the "Protestant" from the point of view of singing, art, church, theology, social work, etc. And last but not least, we want to ask ourselves what it means to be "Protestant" in the future.
