Death greys for funeral feasts

Josef Edenhofer, local brewery and landowner. He has made it to a considerable fortune in his life. But even this did not save him from the last course that lies ahead of us all. On the evening of his funeral, the collected mourning community comes together in the local inn to revive Josef's cheerful nature. When telling one or the other anecdote of the deceased, the unbelievable suddenly happens. A shot! A loud outcry! One of the mourners collapses bleeding. Fortunately, a doctor is among the invitees, but also the pathologist Ulrike Biop-Sien can only determine the death of the shot victim. A murder at the funeral feast? Who is so tasteless and commits such a piety crime?

Chief Commissioner Anselm Grabengräber is immediately on the spot. Known for his sophistication and stubbornness, Anselm begins to investigate and leaves no suspicion unobserved. With the indirect help of the diligent pathologist, the two come across surprising clues that raise question after question. Did Josef Edenhofer perhaps not die a natural death after all?
