Mrs. Emerita Valaulta-Gliott exhibits her paintings in the GalariaBurgaisa on the 1st floor of the Sentupada Church and Cultural Center.
The exhibition runs until 31 May 2025 (exception: closed on 29 May 2025) and is open from Thursday to Saturday from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., or by appointment.

Philipp Gurt was born in 1968 as the seventh of eight children of a poor mountain farming family in Graubünden and grew up in various children's homes. Gurt wrote short stories as a teenager, followed by his first novel at the age of twenty. He has always had an intimate relationship with nature, which was also to shape his highly atmospheric writing. His connection to the canton of Graubünden, where he still lives today as a freelance writer, can be felt in each of his novels.

What does being queer mean as a young person today? In this book, 15 children and adolescents who move outside of classic gender stereotypes talk about their lives: the elementary school child who knows exactly that he is a girl, even though everyone thinks he is a boy. The gay teenager in the countryside who is isolated at school and finds like-minded people in the chat. And the non-binary activist who confidently carries her "false sexuality" to the outside world.

Christina Caprez is a sociologist and historian, was an editor at Radio SRF 2 Kultur and now works as a freelance journalist and author. She lives near Zurich.

Escaping everyday school life, Luka, Ursina and Mevina try to rediscover, unfold and complement their voices with the ballads and folk songs from the islands. Combined with the sounds of Ursina's violin and Mirj's harp and guitar, lively, light music is created that enchants and sweeps you away.

As early as the 1980s, these four musicians shaped the Chur music scene in cult bands such as The Pyros, Vince & The Moondogs and Sculpture. Later, they rocked in bands such as Breathless, Third Stone from the Sun, Intoxicate, Blududerino, and Hampa & The Charms.

About two years ago, Marc and Roland sat in the Royal Rockers Bar and reminisced about the good old days. The two have known each other since school days and were deeply rooted in the rockabilly scene at the time. That's when they came up with the idea: Why not start a band again? But this time it was to go "back to the roots" – authentic rockabilly, classic hits, neo-rockabilly in the style of the 80s and a pinch of blues.

Without further ado, Renato and Beat were brought on board and The Royal Rockers were born. Their first performances in 2024 were a complete success and delighted both the band and the audience. It was especially nice to see that many friends and acquaintances remembered the good old days or became interested in music for the first time. The three concerts in 2024 were well attended and the energy and passion of the Royal Rockers made you want more.

The band's history is marked by friendship and a shared passion for music. The Royal Rockers have managed to bring the magic of the past into the present and delight both old and new fans. Their performances are not only musical highlights, but also emotional journeys into the past that sweep the audience away and inspire them.
