TRËI sings songs of the women who watch over the beds of the living and the dying. Crows, ravens and magpies accompany their stories and songs, predict war, bring good news. Poetic and honest, TRËİ deals with persecution, empowerment and femininity, honoring all those who have accompanied people on the edge of life singing for centuries.

TRËİ sings vocal folk from different cultures and their own compositions. In staged concerts and interdisciplinary collaborations, the trio creates adventurous vocal and instrumental music that repeatedly revolves around the question of being human on a turbulent planet.

"Siblings at the Limit" tells the story of Isa Wiss and Hans-Peter Pfammatter. They are a Lucerne musician duo from the jazz and folk song scene, which is often booked for "special occasions": award ceremonies, weddings, funerals. What people say about them: They can convey great emotions with their music. Together with director Beatrice Fleischlin, they dig into the siblings' biographical material, carefully fan out the finds and put them together to create a scenic-musical evening with people, music and delirium.

"Wybergschtürm" or "Die ruhige Weiber" in the laundry room: many country hits describe a women's theme, but come from the pens of men who naturally don't know much about women's lives. In the project Ladies' Choice! the true "Wybergschtürm experts" are now making themselves heard: Eleven of the most accomplished folk music women in Switzerland will present a complete programme of compositions by women and tour the country with them.

The idea came about at the suggestion of the artistic director of the Altdorf Folk Music Festival, which wanted to honour and highlight the influence and importance of women for the development of the folk music scene.

The world is of the most diverse nature, complex and diverse, whether we like it or not. The Ensemble ö! has turned this tricky hodgepodge around us into a musical quality and transformed it into a pleasure. SONNENGELB presents compositions by Fabien Lévy (*1968), Arnulf Herrmann (*1968), Tristan Murail (*1947) and Morton Feldman (1926–1987).

Namibia – a country in southern Africa – gained its independence in 1990, 35 years ago, making it an amazingly young country. The history and traditions of the peoples who lived here, on the other hand, go back a long way. Thousands of years old rock paintings impressively document the earliest cultures. Modern history, on the other hand, has been dramatically shaped by colonialism and apartheid.

Against this background, the term "young GeNerATION" in the title of the exhibition refers to artists who were born at the time of independence and share a social and political affiliation. It also includes all those who explore the nature of Namibia as a newly emerging nation, including artists who were active before independence but have contributed to the current discourse in recent decades by searching for new themes and expressions.
The exhibition at the Forum Würth Chur is based on a collection of works in the Würth Collection, which was first presented to the public in 2016 at the Museum Würth in Künzelsau in cooperation with the National Art Gallery of Namibia in Windhoek.

The program Canti rusticani (Rustic Songs) is born from the need to reconnect with the intimate, naked and rudimentary nature of the guitar: it is a return to the archē, imbued with a deep tension towards the most intrinsic dimension of sound and instrument. This search for origins is expressed through works by Italian composers of the 20th century and contemporary composers, where the poetics and artisanal sensibility are delicately inspired by the land and traditions to which they belong.
